Double Storey Side and Rear and Part Rear Extension
About the Project
This project involved a double storey side extension, part double and part single storey rear extension, front porch, and enlargement of the parking area to a dwelling in Bradford. The proposal was developed to provide additional living accommodation, including a home office, larger kitchen and dining space, extra bedrooms, and improved off street parking.
Plans Direct prepared the planning application and developed the design to respond to the key planning considerations, including visual appearance, neighbour amenity and highway safety. Careful attention was given to the overall form of the extensions, the relationship with the existing house, window positioning, privacy measures, and the layout of the parking area.
Planning permission was successfully secured, allowing the client to move forward with a comprehensive extension scheme that improved both the accommodation and functionality of the property.
